  • Downtown Indianapolis (Indiana’s capital city) is a great place to visit. Art is on display everywhere, sports and museums dedicated to sports are abundant, festivals and celebrations are commonplace, unique restaurants and shops line many of the streets, there are ever-changing exhibits at the museums, and numerous easily accessible hotels are readily available in every comfort and price range.
  • White River State Park, America’s only cultural urban state park, is home to green space, cultural attractions and an outdoor music venue. The park is best explored by bike, boat, segway, foot, or a Gondola ride!
  • Winding through the White River State Park is the Canal Walk – a waterside promenade for walkers, runners, bikers and sightseers.
  • Indy has the largest children’s museum in the country. Five floors of interactive fun and dinosaur exhibits make this museum voted one of the best in America.
  • The most celebrated destination in Indianapolis is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Get a taste of the rush of driving a race car by immersing yourself in the Race Experience, and admire all those who’ve raced on the Speedway at the Hall of Fame Museum.
  • If you like sports, visiting the NCAA Hall of Champions is a must. You can shoot hoops in a replica 1930’s gym and throw a pass to a receiver in a sports simulator in this interactive museum.
  • Must-see cultural attractions include: the world-class Indiana State Museum, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Eiteljorg Museum, Rhythm! Discovery Center and the Garfield Park Conservatory and Gardens.

  • The vibrant art scene in Fountain Square attracts visitors and locals alike. This funky neighborhood also showcases live music, one-of-a-kind stores, and a wide array of restaurants.
  • Open every Wednesday from May – October, the City Market showcases local artisans, eateries and retailers. Since the building is on the National Register of Historic Places, tours are offered to visitors of the Romanesque underground catacombs.
  • Visit Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, and one of the most beautiful football stadiums in the U.S. If you’re not in town for a game, book a tour of this architectural gem.
  • The Slippery Noodle Inn, Indiana’s oldest bar, has been recognized by Rolling Stone as one of America’s top blues bars. Offering live blues music every night of the week, and visited by people like Harrison Ford and Dave Matthews, this historic landmark is a huge part of Indy’s nightlife scene.

Corporate Events

Downtown Indianapolis is designed to cater to meetings and conventions. As the most “connected” city – meaning there are 4,700 hotel rooms connected by skywalk to over 740,000 square feet of exhibit space for meetings and conventions – everything you need for your group is within walking distance.
The Indiana Convention Center is connected to Lucas Oil Stadium via a climate controlled walkway, offering numerous options for your meeting or convention.
Outside of the Convention Center is Georgia Street – a European-inspired outdoor promenade that is a perfect space for events.
For smaller, more intimate events there’s a list of theaters, breweries, hotels, restaurants, museums, comedy clubs and more to host your meeting, event, or group gathering.
